CleanNG has yet to put its product into the marketplace, but the Tulsa startup already has gained worldwide recognition for its new-concept compressed natural gas tank.
Global Entrepreneurship Week honored CleanNG LLC as one of its top 50 startups, beating out most of nearly 400 applicants in 17 countries. Business channel CNBC also featured CleanNG as one of "the world's most promising companies."

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State University accomplished a rarity in 2012, when two faculty members with the OSU Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering were named Fellows by their professional organization in the same year.
Department Head and Professor Dan Thomas and OSU Regents Professor Glenn Brown were so recognized by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers in 2012.

(STILLWATER, Okla., November 6, 2012) – Sandip Harimkar, assistant professor in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Oklahoma State University has been selected as the 2013 TMS Young Leaders International Scholar-JIM Award recipient. This honor is jointly sponsored through The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) and the Japan Institute of Medals (JIM), and supports a collaborative research agenda.

(STILLWATER, Okla., November 6, 2012) – Four students from Oklahoma State University were awarded scholarships during the 45th annual Frontiers of Power Conference through the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology. These scholarships were given in memory of Dr. Bill Hughes, former head for the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at OSU.

(STILLWATER, Okla., Sept 24, 2012) – The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University hosted its 58th annual Hall of Fame on September 21, 2012. The three distinguished alumni inducted this year were Wilson “Dutch” Shoffner, Cal Vogt and Jerry Winchester.
These Hall of Fame recipients join a long list of highly successful alumni who have contributed to the world through service, business and innovations.
Wilson “Dutch” Shoffner is a retired Army Lieutenant General, who graduated from OSU in 1961 with a degree in mechanical engineering.

Harry Schroeder, Peter Storm, Erin Westbrook, and Philip White from the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology were named to OSU’s Top 10 Freshman Men and Women.
Schroeder, Westbrook and White are all Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Majors, and Storm is a Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Major. Selection of students, who are now in their sophomore year at OSU, is based upon scholarship, community service, campus involvement and outstanding leadership during their freshman year. Congratulations!
