(STILLWATER, Okla., December 1, 2016) – The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University inducted two industry leaders into its Hall of Fame at its annual ceremony.
Hall of Fame inductees included Mark Brewer (’88 Electrical Engineering) and Ann Oglesby (’87 Chemical Engineering).

It is no secret that Oklahoma State University has a long standing commitment to the armed forces of the United States. One of the many ways the university supports those who serve is to offer a military leave of absence. This policy allows servicemen and women who are also students to be absent from the University for active military duty without penalty to admission status or grade point average and without loss of institutional financial aid

(STILLWATER, Okla., September 20, 2016) – Randy Seitsinger, architecture professor and FAIA, has been named the new associate dean of academic affairs for the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT).
“I look forward to this opportunity to work with all of the faculty, staff and students in CEAT to expand our mission and provide innovative, academic programs to all CEAT students,” says Seitsinger. “My past experience will help me provide a unique look to academic offerings across the college.”

On a handful of late Friday nights last fall, a busload of Texas high school football players celebrated victories on the ride home from away games.
The travel time back to DeSoto — one of the most prestigious prep football programs in the state, sending dozens of athletes to Division-I schools over the past few seasons — was a chance to unwind, relax and maybe catch a quick nap.
But not for wide receiver Chris Lacy. It was homework time.

(STILLWATER, Okla., November 11, 2016) - The New Product Development Center (NPDC) at Oklahoma State University will be signing a contract with the Airplane Transporting Systems (ATS) to conduct research and development to produce engineering drawings that will lead to a working prototype.
The ATS is an innovative system designed to transport aircraft from the runway via the taxiway to the airport gates and back to the runway. Upon landing, the pilot taxis the aircraft to the taxiway where the ATS system is installed, ready for use.

(STILLWATER, Okla., October 11, 2016) – James Manimala, Ph.D. and assistant professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, was awarded the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Young Faculty Award. This award is for a $498,000 two-year base project with a possibility of a $500,000 follow-on director’s fellowship.
