The International Ground Source Heat Pump Association is now an approved provider of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education System (CES). Architects will now be able to earn learning units for attending IGSHPA courses that have been registered with AIA.
“As an approved AIA CES provider, IGSHPA will now open doors to educational training hours for architects, who must be aware of efficiency, environment and energy savings of GSHP systems”

(STILLWATER, Okla., April 8, 2016) – The Oklahoma State University chapter of Chi Epsilon won the 2016 Conclave Spirit Award.
The Conclave Spirit Award rewards a student chapter attending a national conclave based on the number of delegates sent, including those sent as proxies for other chapters, the distance traveled and the proportion of delegates to the chapter size.

(STILLWATER, Okla., April 1, 2016) – OSU CEAT’s Outreach and Extension, along with the Spears School of Business and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, hosted a Building Extension’s Public Value Workshop.
Dr. Laura Kalambokidis from the University of Minnesota developed the workshop in support of the Minnesota cooperative extension. The workshop lasted four hours and covered how to communicate public value to decision makers.

(STILLWATER, Okla., March 24, 2016) – OSU’s College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) hosted Larry Novak as part of its Halliburton Global Innovator speaker series.
Novak currently serves as the director of structural engineering at the Portland Cement Association (PCA). Prior to PCA, he was an associate partner at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, where he served as the lead structural engineer for the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, located in Dubai.

The Distinguished Seminar Series of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) presents the work of internationally recognized researchers. This seminar series is intended to provide an open platform for the faculty and students, to have a dialogue with leading researchers in various fields of ECE and to build up a dynamic and vibrant culture of research and academic exchange in the ECE department. STILLWATER, Okla. (March 10, 2016) – Three seniors from the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology have been named 2016 Outstanding Seniors by the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association.
The Outstanding Senior award recognizes seniors who excel through academic achievement; campus and community activities; academic, athletic or extra-curricular honors or awards; scholarships and work ethic during their time at OSU.
