Welcome to FPSET and FSEP!

The FPSET Program is a 4-year ABET accredited program that concludes with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology - Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology. The curriculum is designed to prepare graduates to assess and reduce the risks associated with fires, safety hazards, chemical exposures, hazardous materials, and much more.  
Additionally, the FPSET program offers a graduate program leading to the Master of Science in Engineering Technology with an option in Fire Safety and Explosion Protection (FSEP). The program is designed to prepare students with major emphasis in fields of interest such as fire protection engineering, explosion protection, fire and explosion hazards and process safety.

OSU FPSET students sweep Tennessee Valley SFPE scholarships

Four Oklahoma State University Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology students have been awarded a combined $35,000 in scholarships from the Tennessee Valley Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers for the 2025-26 academic year.
