ASHRAE's President Ginger Scoggins visits CEAT

April 12, 2024

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers’ (ASHRAE’s) President Ginger Scoggins visited the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) on Tuesday, April 2nd. 2024. While here, she visited some of the labs in CEAT, where she met with students and learned about their Center for Integrated Building Systems (CIBS) projects.

3 engineering students took 2nd place at the Riata Business Plan Competition

Ted Sperry, Mohammad Rashed Islam and Emmanuel Yangue were all part of a team that took 2nd place at this year’s Riata Business Plan competition - High Tech category.

ECE graduate student named Graduate Commencement Marshal

Zhidong Su, an ECE PhD student, has been named 2024 OSU Graduate College Honorary Graduate Commencement Marshal. Dr. Weihua Sheng, Professor of ECE, is his PhD advisor.

MAE student Olivia Fulkerson won 3rd place for poster presentation at Research Day at the Capitol

Olivia Fulkerson, a junior in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, was recently selected as one of only four students to represent Oklahoma State University at the Research Day at the Capitol. Her research, titled Accelerating Design and Additive Manufacturing of Polymer Composites for Aerospace Applications, focuses on developing data-driven strategies to expedite the design of additive manufactured components across the automotive, aerospace, and medical sectors. She participated in the Research-intensive Institutions category, where she won third place for her poster presentation.
