(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / AUGUST 25, 2016) – The City of Stillwater recognizes fire department intern Ashley Evans, who recently received a scholarship from the International Association of Fire Chiefs.

Evans is a senior studying fire protection and safety engineering technology at Oklahoma State University. She has interned with the Stillwater Fire Department since October 2014.

Fellow is an honorary title given to individuals who have made extraordinary technical or service contributions to the industry and/or the Association. (STILLWATER, Okla., July 18, 2016) – Connor Mojo, industrial engineering major and recent CEAT graduate was awarded the Sigma Nu National Scholar of the Year and granted membership of the Alpha Alumni Chapter Affiliate Program.

Membership in the Alpha Alumni Chapter Affiliate Program is one of the highest honors given by Sigma Nu; only 10 men are selected each year for the award.

(STILLWATER, Okla., July 12, 2016) – In the first face-to-face meeting of four university partners in a project to develop unmanned aerial systems for weather research, more than 65 faculty and students met at Oklahoma State University to discuss project goals, but more importantly to kick the tires of unmanned aerial vehicles in test flights for the NSF CLOUD-MAP project.
