CEAT Admission Requirements

The first step to being admitted into the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) is as easy as submitting your OSU admissions application. This one application ensures you are considered for OSU and CEAT admissions as well as for scholarship funding. Check our our admission requirements below to see how you can join CEAT!

Assured CEAT freshmen admissionStudents who have an ACT/SAT test score submitted to OSU will qualify for assured CEAT freshman admission if they meet the composite ACT/SAT requirement and one of the two other criteria:

 24+ Composite ACT*
24+ Math ACT
3.5 (15 unit core) GPA


 

Assured CEAT transfer admissionStudents qualify for assured CEAT transfer admission if they meet the following criteria:

Pre-CEAT to CEAT

Students who don't meet assured CEAT enrollment requirements but are admissible to the university will be placed in Pre-CEAT where they will be advised in the University College and prepare for transitioning into CEAT successfully.

International CEAT Admissions

International student applications must be received by June 15, November 1 or April 1 for the fall, spring and summer terms respectively, to be considered for admission to CEAT programs.
