This September, Dr. Bruce W. Russell, professor for the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and his team were awarded the Charles C. Zollman Award for authoring the best transportation infrastructure paper in The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute Journal.

Gary Snyder, director of Oklahoma State University’s Center for Local Government Technology, received two distinguished honors at the 2025 International Association of Assessing Officers Annual Conference, held in October in Orlando, Florida.

In recognition of individuals who have represented these values to a high degree, ASME names members to its fellowship. Since the 1960s, ASME has given this title to just 4,000 engineers. A College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology professor is one of the latest, as Dr. Mike Xiang of the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering was recently named an ASME Fellow.

Reagan Tollefson, a junior in chemical engineering at Oklahoma State University, has been named the recipient of the 2024–25 Donald F. Othmer Second Year Student Award by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).
