The Society of Fire Protection Engineers has elected Dr. Virginia Charter, PE, FSFPE, to serve on its 2026 Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is responsible for guiding the strategic vision and governance of the Society on behalf of its global membership.

Dr. Sundar Madihally, professor, undergraduate program director and ABET coordinator for the School of Chemical Engineering in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at OSU, is a faculty member who goes above and beyond to ensure his students have success.

Caden Cantwell, along with a team of Lexi Anderson, Dustin Plott and Dyland Hammond, all business majors, finished first in the OSU MBA Case Competition. Cantwell was also selected as the best male presenter as the team worked through the challenge presented.

Carrie Johnson, P.E., S.E., a graduate of Oklahoma State University’s architectural engineering program, has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations. The award recognizes Johnson’s decades-long leadership, service and lasting contributions to the structural engineering profession.
