CEAT’s Office of Sponsored Research is excited to announce the promotion of Jamie Westmoreland to Research Administration Operations Manager.

 

Jamie has been serving as the Interim Operations Manager since August following the retirement of Tim Schlais. Jamie has worked as both a Grant Manager and a Proposal Development Specialist, thus she is familiar with all aspects of CEAT’s grant submission and award management processes. She also has extensive experience in interpreting and applying local, state, and federal regulations through her previous experience in Public Health.

 

As the Research Administration Operations Manager, Jamie supervises all staff performing pre-award and post-award activities in CEAT. She reports directly to CEAT’s Associate Dean for Research, Chuck Bunting.

 

Bunting stated, “Jamie has a great rapport with the faculty, and has demonstrated that she can effectively work with faculty to ensure that CEAT’s grants and contracts are submitted and managed according to university policies and federal regulations. I know that the Sponsored Research team will provide excellent customer service to the faculty under her leadership.”
