Spring 2025: Recapping the OSU Chemical Engineering banquets

Tuesday, May 20, 2025

Several well-dressed people pose for a group photo following a banquet.

The Oklahoma State University School of Chemical Engineering in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) honored the achievements of its students and faculty during two banquets held in early May, celebrating the successes of the 2024–2025 academic year.

The Senior Banquet, hosted by the OSU chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), along with faculty and staff, took place Thursday, May 1. The event recognized 35 graduating seniors from the School of Chemical Engineering.

The following week, on Thursday, May 8, the Graduate Student Banquet was held. Organized by the Chemical Engineering Graduate Student Association (ChEGSA), along with faculty and staff, the event celebrated 14 graduates from the fall, spring and summer terms in the chemical and petroleum engineering master’s and doctoral programs.

Throughout the year and during the banquets, the department recognized numerous accomplishments that reflect the excellence, dedication and community spirit of its students, faculty and supporters. These achievements were made possible through the continued support of donors, alumni, CEAT and the broader CHE community.

Shown are special cords given to engineering graduates.
