The School of Materials, Mechatronics & Manufacturing Engineering (MMME) is a part of the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT) at Oklahoma State University. Our mission is to advance knowledge and innovation in the fields of materials science, mechatronics, and manufacturing engineering. Christine Brockman defends Ph.D. dissertation on high-temperature ceramic matrix composits

November 13, 2025

Christine Brockman, a materials science and engineering Ph.D. candidate in the School of Materials, Mechatronics & Manufacturing Engineering, successfully defended her dissertation on October 10, 2025. Her research, entitled Multimodal Approach for the In-Situ Investigation of High Temperature Tensile Behavior and Damage Progression of SiCf/SiC Ceramic Matrix Minicomposites, involved the mechanical testing of ceramic matrix composite systems at temperatures up to 2700°F (1482°C).

OSU chapter of Association of Energy Engineers shines with national awards

August 5, 2025

Kritika Bhandari, who earned her master’s from the School of Industrial Engineering and Management in spring 2025. Bhandari was honored with the organization’s Outstanding Student Chapter Member Award. The OSU chapter also received the Best Student Chapter Conference and Expo award.
