They also have one-on-one interaction with peer mentors, faculty mentors and corporate and industry leaders. Examples of past enrichment opportunities include:

    • Glass blowing experiences at the Tulsa Glass Studio
    • Indoor Skydiving

International Experience

Global competition is a reality for the nation’s leading industrial firms and a way of life for the leaders of those firms. Each CEAT Scholar will graduate fully prepared to walk into any organization with an understanding of the global marketplace and its impact on that industry and this country. Following their junior year, CEAT Scholars have to travel internationally. During their first three years as a CEAT Scholar, they — together with W.W. Allen Scholars — choose countries they would like to visit in order to experience the reason behind the 14 Grand Challenges. Previous study abroad locations include:

  • China
  • Finland
  • Hungary
  • Romania
  • Spain
  • Tunisia
  • Turkey
