STEM Teacher Training

OSU STEM teacher training is customized for Oklahoma public school system for K thru 12th grade teachers. Training will include activity-based classroom curriculum focused on an introduction of engineering in the classroom. It will include curriculum supplies and take back to your classroom STEM kits. Teachers will earn continuing education units (CEU’s) and professional development hours (PDH’s). Light refreshments will be provided during training. Lunch will be on your own.

STEM Education and the Construction Industry in Rural States

This conference workshop will discuss challenges faced by rural K12 schools and the higher education attainment gap particularly in high-demand and high-payment jobs in Construction, Infrastructure, and STEM. The overall goal of the conference is to answer important questions about bringing high paying jobs to rural areas, and increasing opportunities in those locations through educators, and providing support to those educators. This conference workshop is open to K12 Educators, Instructional Designers, Higher Education Educators, and Industry Members. Travel stipends may be available for K12 Educators.
