The mission of the Oklahoma Highway Construction Material Technician program is to ensure that every technician, sampling or testing Oklahoma highway construction materials for the purpose of quality control/assurance, has demonstrated the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform at a level of competence commensurate with the highest standards of the industry.

This guide is designed to help applicants prepare for the Oklahoma Highway Construction Materials Technician Program certification modules. The certification process requires applicants to preform specified sampling and or testing procedures in the presence of an evaluator who determines whether the applicant has the skills and knowledge required to obtain consistent results with other evaluated technicians.
