Our interdisciplinary programs combine hands-on experience with cutting-edge research to address real-world challenges in fire protection, occupational safety, construction science, and emergency response.
Construction Engineering Technology
The construction industry is the largest industry in the world. Leadership in this field requires a broad knowledge of labor, materials and equipment, capital and construction procedures. The interdisciplinary approach of the Construction Engineering Technology program at OSU provides students with specialized coursework in all phases of construction that are designed to prepare them for future positions in industry.
Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology
The FPSET Program is a 4-year ABET accredited program that concludes with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology - Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology. The curriculum is designed to prepare graduates to assess and reduce the risks associated with fires, safety hazards, chemical exposures, hazardous materials, and much more.
Fire and Emergency Management Administration
Oklahoma State University’s graduate program in Fire and Emergency Management Administration Program is one of the oldest programs in the nation. Students receive a superior academic experience in preparing leaders in the fire services, disaster management, emergency management professions, as well as educators and researchers in these fields.
