Mechatronics and Robotics

The School of Materials, Mechatronics and Manufacturing Engineering at Oklahoma State
University offers both Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering and Engineering Technology programs, welcoming students from across the nation and around the world.
The Engineering programs emphasize theory, analysis, and system design, preparing students for careers
in advanced system development, research, and graduate study. The Engineering Technology program focuses on hands-on, applied learning through laboratory-based coursework,
preparing graduates to implement, test, and operate mechatronic and robotic systems
in industry.
Both programs provide interdisciplinary education in automation, control, sensing,
hardware and software integration, and intelligent systems, with opportunities to
specialize in areas such as artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, advanced
manufacturing, and soft robotics.
