The Center for Integrated Building Systems (CIBS) at OSU is celebrating the conclusion of its first year of existence with the release of its first annual report. During its inaugural year, CIBS had a direct impact on over 60 students from the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) and was able to turn significant, member support into measurable, early successes. “The outcomes that we were able to deliver for our first year in the context of a global pandemic and economic uncertainty it created makes me incredibly proud of 2021 and excited for the future,” said Director of CIBS, Dr. Craig Bradshaw. “Combine that with the support from OCAST starting in 2022 and the future of CIBS looks very bright.” As CIBS closes 2021, the outlook for 2022 is encouraging and hopes to see a significant increase to the number of students and members impacted by their upcoming projects.
