Arnob Das

Meet Arnob Das, a student of CIBS in his first semester, currently pursuing a master’s degree. When he is not carrying out research or other duties, Arnob fills his time with poetry, guitar playing, badminton, soccer, and exploring places of natural beauty. The mixed array of hobbies allows for a creative approach to making strides in the field of thermal energy.

Currently engaged in the development of a three-fluid heat exchanger system (TriCoil), Arnob envisions a future where traditional space and cost constraints for heat exchangers are eliminated. Arnob's work reflects a keen focus on techno-economic advancements and environmental considerations in clean energy utilization.

Arnob’s dedication to the field is evident in his publication works. With 16 publications this year alone, and 20 in total, his most cited works include: “A comprehensive review on recent advancements in thermochemical processes for clean hydrogen production to decarbonize the energy sector” and “Peer-to-Peer Energy Trading Pricing Mechanisms: Towards a Comprehensive Analysis of Energy and Network Service Pricing (NSP) Mechanisms to Get Sustainable Enviro-Economical Energy Sector.”

Prior to joining CIBS, Arnob was motivated to find a place to collaborate with renowned researchers and experts in the field. This motivation highlights his enthusiasm for contributing to the forefront of thermal energy and HVAC systems.

Looking ahead, Arnob is determined to make a lasting impact by applying his innovative concepts to practical applications in collaboration with research institutions and industries. As he sets out to graduate, Arnob Das is in a position to become a driving force in the evolution of renewable energy and building thermal energy systems, embodying a vision for a sustainable and efficient future.
