Meet Dipa Saha, a master’s student of CIBS, who is set to graduate in 2025. Dipa is making waves in the field of HVAC systems. Joining as an MS student in the spring of this year, Dipa embarked on a journey fueled by a passion for sustainable energy and innovative technologies.

 

Dipa is currently engrossed in the Tri-coil Project, a groundbreaking endeavor aimed at addressing the mismatch between renewable energy supply and electricity demand. Through the development of the Tri-coil heat exchanger, Dipa envisions a transformative solution that will revolutionize how renewable energy is integrated into the electrical grid.

 

When she is not working, fulfilling other student duties, or caring for her son, Dipa is an avid reader, finding solace in storybooks, and unwinds through the melodies of music. Cooking also holds a special place, offering a creative outlet away from academic rigors. One of her favorite dishes to frequent is biryani.

 

Dipa is driven by a fervent desire to contribute significantly to the industry. The Tri-coil Project, Dipa believes, will pave the way for a more sustainable future by optimizing renewable energy utilization in HVAC systems.

 

When asked about her inspiration for joining Oklahoma State University, Dipa cites alignment with Dr. Bach's research, emphasizing the thrill of collaborative work within the HVAC sector. Digging deeper into these interests, she joined CIBS. The exposure to future demands and research prospects the center could offer ignited Dipa's enthusiasm, shaping a clear trajectory toward becoming an HVAC consultant.

 

Post-graduation, Dipa plans to return to the Government Research Organization in her home country of Bangladesh, armed with invaluable insights gained during their time at OSU. Her ambition, however, does not stop there. Dipa envisions returning to pursue her PhD to delve deeper into her research and further enhance her expertise before seeking a role in consultancy within the industry.

 

Dipa embodies the spirit of innovation and dedication, driven by a vision to make substantial contributions to the HVAC industry and create a sustainable impact on a global scale. As Dipa's journey continues, the industry eagerly anticipates the transformative ideas and solutions that will undoubtedly emerge from their future endeavors.
