Thursday, April 27, 2023
An Oklahoma State University Civil and Environmental Engineering (CIVE) team took third place in the Benchscale Competition for Task 4: Detecting and Quantifying Microplastics in Reservoirs. One of the primary challenges in mitigating microplastics pollution is the ability to detect and quantify microplastic particles in a large body of water. The team was challenged to find a solution to this task that can be widely used for mitigation of microplastics in reservoirs.
