Dr. James Stine receives Regents Distinguished Research Award

Dr. Stine is recognized for his contributions to application-specific integrated circuit
(ASIC) design using state-of-the-art nanometer CMOS processes. The digital electronic
chips designed in his laboratory have been utilized by numerous US Air Force Programs.
This is the eighteenth year that Regents Distinguished Research Awards have been presented.
Faculty chosen for this award have been judged by their peers to have a distinguished
record of past and continuing excellence in research that is recognized nationally
and internationally. This award includes a $2,000 permanent stipend.
