ECE mourns the loss of colleague, mentor and friend

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering is saddened by the news of the recent death of Emeritus Regents/Centennial Professor Dr. Radha Krishna Rao Yarlagadda. He passed away on February 27, 2023. Prof. Yarlagadda had an illustrious 40-year career with OSU from 1966 to 2006. He was well known for his pioneering research in digital speech processing and for his numerous PhD students, many of whom have been inducted in the CEAT Hall of Fame. He will be remembered for his keen intellect and his kind and gentle soul. He will be missed.
