The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering is excited to announce that Dr. Ying Zhang has joined our team as a tenure track assistant professor. Dr. Zhang received her PhD in 2020 from South Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, and previously served as an assistant professor at Montana State University. She comes to OSU with a wealth of knowledge in the area of electrical power and energy systems with particular expertise in distribution system situational awareness, renewable integration, and AI applications for smart grid networks. Her research has culminated in fifteen peer-review papers that have appeared in nationally and internationally recognized journals. ECE is fortunate to have Dr. Zhang on our team and looks forward to her future contributions to the School’s mission of teaching, research, and service.
