ECE Miller Research Scholars of 2024-2025

In the fall of 2024, the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) introduced a new initiative aimed at encouraging undergraduate students to engage in research with ECE faculty members.

This initiative is supported by the Lynn T. Miller fund through the OSU foundation and will provide annual funding for ten Miller Scholars, each receiving $2,000.

To be eligible, students must be full-time ECE majors, have completed at least 30 credit hours at OSU, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2. Applicants are required to submit a research plan along with a recommendation letter from an ECE faculty mentor.

The ECE Undergraduate Program Committee, comprised of Prof. Nate Lannan (Director), Drs. Daqing Piao, Weihua Sheng, and John O'Hara, reviewed all applications and selected the top ten students for the Miller Award.  Committee members who are also serving as faculty mentors for applicants were excluded from reviewing those specific submissions.

Congratulations to the inaugural class of ECE Miller Research Scholars for 2024-2025.
