IISE held their General Meeting with guest speaker Dr. Pratima Saravanan (IEM). 

 

Saravanan's seminar focused on human factors and their applications in healthcare. Specifically, Dr. Saravanan discussed her past research on (1) intensive care unit nurses' burnout and occupational stress during the pandemic, (2) developing decision-support tools for lower-limb prosthetic prescriptions, and (3) designing graphical user interfaces for anesthetic needle insertion.
