OSU alumnus named to executive position of Intel Foundry

An alumnus of the Oklahoma State University College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology’s School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering was recently named to an executive position with Intel Corporation.
Dr. Naga Chandrasekaran was recently appointed as chief global operations officer, executive vice president and general manager of the Intel Foundry Manufacturing and Supply Chain organization.
Chandrasekaran begins his new role Aug. 12, 2024, and will oversee Intel Foundry’s worldwide manufacturing, strategic planning, corporate quality assurance and supply chain management.
Chandrasekaran obtained his master’s in mechanical engineering from OSU in 1997 and his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering in 2001 from OSU.
He also received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Madras. He also received a master’s degree in information and data science from the University of California-Berkley as well as dual executive MBAs from the University of California at Los Angeles and the National University of Singapore.
He joins Intel Foundry after more than 20 years at Micron, where he served in various leadership roles and was most recently senior vice president of Technology Development.
Chandrasekaran has vast experience in semiconductor manufacturing, research and development.
