Although our team is “Engineering Nature-Inspired Solutions” like wetlands for water treatment, our research expands beyond this premise. We are generally interested in exploring the overall environmental impact of engineered and natural systems. A central theme of much of our current work is greenhouse gas emissions, including monitoring and modeling, with emphasis on designs and management to decrease overall emissions.
