Research Areas
Professor Henderson has published and presented on topics covering circular polarized parabolic dish feedhorns, Peltier cooled low noise amplifiers covering 50 to 7000 MHz, alternative energy, and EV power systems. He has developed EV's for racing and holds a NEDRA world record of 9.75 seconds and 133 MPH in the 1/4 mile on an electric motorcycle. Professor Henderson earned his amateur radio license while in high school and worked all fifty states on 144 MHz, mostly via the earth-moon-earth path (EME or moon bounce) before his 25th birthday. For fun, he will send a 2.3 GHz signal to the moon just to listen to the return of 2.5 second delayed echo.
Education
Professor Henderson is a graduate of Pittsburg State University with a Master of Engineering Technology. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern State University and an Associates of Science from Tulsa Junior College. Professor Henderson obtained NOCTI in Electronics at Oklahoma State University.
