Abour Dr. Zhang
Dr. Zhang is Professor of Electrical Engineering and a member of the Ultrafast Terahertz Research Group (UTRG) at Oklahoma State University. His research interest includes terahertz optoelectronics, nano- and micro-structured materials optics, ultrafast phenomena, and semiconductor photonics.
Dr. Zhang’s research has been sponsored by NSF, DOE, DOD, Army, Oklahoma EPSCoR, Oklahoma New Product Development Center, NSFC, and industrial partners. Dr. Zhang serves as Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports, Primary Guest Editor of IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics special issue “Terahertz Photonics”, and Topical Editor/Associate Editor/Editorial Board Member of several other journals. Dr. Zhang is a recipient of 2015 OSU Regents Distinguished Research Award. Dr. Zhang is a fellow of The Optical Society (OSA).
Dr. Zhang has published over 290 invited or contributed articles in peer-reviewed journals, including Nature Communications, Nature Photonics, Science Advances, Physical Review Letters, Advanced Materials, Optica, Applied Physics Letters, and Optics Letters. His articles indexed by Web of Science receive a total of 7,198 cites with an h-index of 46. Among these, 14 articles are ESI Highly Cited Papers. His articles indexed by Google Scholar receive a total of 9,723 cites with an h-index of 55.
