The Fire and Emergency Management Program (FEMP) is a key-component of Oklahoma State University’s commitment to its land grant mission. FEMP serves the community, our state, and the nation by educating professionals in critical leadership roles while also developing the next generation of practitioners and academics.

PhD Program Learning Outcomes:

 

1. Master substantive theories, concepts, policies, and practices associated with fire and emergency management.

2. Build and sustain expert-level scientific, geographic, sociocultural, technological, and systems literacy within a fire and emergency management context.

3. Master research theory, principles, and practices to make a significant contribution to knowledge within fire and emergency management.

4. Champion ethical research and practice, and life-long learning within fire and emergency management.

 

MS Program Learning Outcomes:

 

1. Critically evaluate substantive theories, concepts, policies, and practices associated with fire and emergency management.
