Allen C. Schuermann is Professor Emeritus of IEM at OSU. He received a PhD in Industrial Engineering (1971) from the University of Arkansas, MS in Mathematics (1968) from Wichita State University and BA in Mathematics (1965) from the University of Kansas. His professional career included Boeing Computer Services and Industrial Engineering faculty positions at Wichita State University and Oklahoma State University. He was Department Chairman at Wichita State University and School Head at Oklahoma State University. He performed numerous research and consulting activities throughout his career. He was National President of Alpha Pi Mu Industrial Engineering Honor Society and is a Fellow of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. He is a member of the Arkansas Academy of Industrial Engineering, Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Phi Beta Delta Honor Society, American Society of Engineering Education, Who’s Who in Engineering, and American Men and Women of Science.
