Jack Goertz

A native of Oklahoma, Jack graduated from OSU with a BSIE in December, 1972 and an MSIE in May, 1974. Upon graduation, Jack moved to Birmingham, AL to begin working as an engineer with the Southern Company. His entire professional career was with the Southern Company, retiring as a Senior Analyst in 2001. In 1984, Jack founded Tandems, Ltd (bicycle shop) with his wife. Since retiring from Southern Co, Jack has dedicated his time to making Tandems, Ltd one of the premier Tandem Bicycle Shops in the world. In 2015, Jack was invited to serve on the Industrial Engineering Advisory Board at OSU.
