Kenneth E. Case is Regents Professor Emeritus of IEM at OSU. He received BSEE(66),
MSIE(67), and PhD(69) degrees from OSU, followed by an academic career at Virginia
Tech and OSU. In addition to teaching, research, and extension, he consulted extensively.
He served as President of both the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE)
and the American Society for Quality, receiving the highest recognitions from each.
He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the International Academy for
Quality, and served on the Panel of Judges for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality
Award. Ken is also the proud Founding Director of OSU’s highly successful Masters
program in Engineering and Technology Management (MSETM).
