Lyndon Taylor

Lyndon C. Taylor is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Devon Energy Corporation where he oversees the legal, government relations, and corporate communications departments. Taylor joined Devon in 2005 after spending 20 years with the international law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. His legal practice focused on the development and financing of large energy infrastructure projects in almost 40 countries around the globe. He earned his law degree with honors from the University of Oklahoma in 1984 after graduating from OSU in 1981 with a BS in Industrial Engineering & Management. While at OSU, he was Student Government Association President and a Top Ten Senior. He received the OSU Distinguished Alumni Award in 2013 and the OSU IE&M Alumni Award in 2014. In 2015, he was selected to receive the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers’ Captains of Industry Award, which honors leaders in business and industry. He and his wife, Pam, have three grown children.
