Megan Crozier

Megan Crozier graduated in May 2003 with her BSIE from Oklahoma State University. While on campus, she was active in both campus and sorority life. Upon graduation, she joined Walmart and was assigned to their Temple Texas Food Distribution Center as the Senior Industrial Engineer. While there, she focused on process improvement and refining work standards (pretty much what a beginner IE does). Her team identified several million dollars in process improvements within her first 9 months.

In 2005, Megan transferred to the Walmart Home Office in Bentonville Arkansas and joined the first Store Operations Innovation Team where she helped to create the first cashier automated scheduling system. This, for the first time, created logical shift assignments for over 200,000 cashiers, saving millions of dollars in wasted labor for the company.

In 2006, she decided to try her hand at becoming a buyer. Her dad (Rick Webb) was assigned to her group and she had to move to another group. She progressed very quickly through various categories including movies & music, Apple accessories and other electronic SKUs across the department. She applied her IE skills to optimize the assortment of products, streamline the production processes and reduce inventories.

Management recognized her success and in 2009 she was promoted to the Food team, fastest growing and most critical department at the time, where she was responsible for Frozen Foods and other categories in the US business. She was promoted to VP of Food in 2014, and in 2016 she was promoted to Senior Vice President, Food and General Merchandise Manager for Package Goods. She now manages a $60+ BILLION business across 6,000+ stores in the US.

In addition to her 60 hours of Walmart work each week, Megan is active with several non-profit organizations including the Northwest Arkansas (NWA) Food Bank, the American Heart Association, the March of Dimes, the NWA Women’s Shelter, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Network of Executive Women and a local support group, Sharing & Caring.

Finally, she’s the mother of two incredible daughters (and more importantly, her parents’ first two grandchildren)!
