Nikki Watters is the Controller at Shawnee Milling Company, where she oversees accounting, finance, and technology services. Since joining the company in 2018 as Assistant Controller, Nikki has played a key role in enhancing financial transparency and operational efficiency. She developed accurate and insightful reporting tools to help leadership track progress and drive improvements, and contributed to refining the company’s pricing strategy through data-driven metrics.

In 2023, Nikki was promoted to Controller and soon after led the successful implementation of a company-wide ERP system. This transformative initiative has laid the foundation for unprecedented data transparency and strategic decision-making—critical for ensuring the company’s continued success into its next century.

Nikki holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management (2004) and a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management (2008), both from Oklahoma State University. Prior to joining Shawnee Milling, she served as Director of Decision Support at INTEGRIS Health, where she led a team of analysts and developers in transforming healthcare data into actionable insights.

Beyond her professional achievements, Nikki is committed to community service. She serves on the board of the Community Market of Pottawatomie County and recently completed a two-year term as board chair, helping the organization strengthen partnerships in the fight against food insecurity. She also volunteers with Gateway to Prevention and Recovery, coordinating the Restoring Smiles program, which provides comprehensive dental care to uninsured clients in recovery through grant funding from the DDOK Foundation.

Nikki lives in Tecumseh, Oklahoma with her husband Mike and daughter Sam. Their family enjoys spending time outdoors—fishing, kayaking, and exploring their property—as well as cheering Sam on during Saturday soccer matches. The family attends University Baptist Church and are faithful supporters of Camp Lutherhoma.  Nikki enjoys running and reading and thrives on quality time with her family, plenty of sunshine and fresh air, and a solid eight hours of sleep. These simple joys keep her grounded and energized, both personally and professionally.
