Patricia Vega


Patricia is the founder and CEO of Quantum New Energy (QNE), a climate tech Company providing a carbon-to-value digital platform that helps companies operationalize their sustainability strategy and deliver ESG results. What gets measured gets managed, and QNE’s AI-driven sustainability software helps achieve the Net-Zero goals by

streamlining data collection to enable near real-time tracking and proactive control. Aid with curated recommendations, users can set up cost-optimized carbon reduction 
pathways to reach their GHG targets, reduce costs, and simplify reporting. The platform also enables smart networks of energy prosumers to digitize energy efficiency programs advancing climate justice and monetizing aggregated pools of carbon credits.


Ms. Vega is also a business and sustainability Leader with 25 years of experience in Digital Transformation and Energy Transition developing and executing value-creation strategies that balance financial performance with enterprise risk management, governance, and fiduciary responsibility. Her multi-disciplinary career spans from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups. Preceding her entrepreneurial venture with QNE, Patricia worked for GE as President & CEO of the Global Evaluation & Optimization 
business. Before that, she was President & CEO of GE Oil & Gas Latin America. Before joining GE, Patricia worked for Halliburton and Baker Hughes. Patricia started her career as a field engineer with BP and Schlumberger. 


Patricia’s education includes studies in Corporate Sustainability Strategy from Yale University, a certificate in Energy Innovation from Stanford University, an M.B.A. from Thunderbird, an M.S. in Technology and Engineering Management from Oklahoma State University, OSU, and a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. She serves as an advisory board member for OSU’s College of Technology and Engineering and as a volunteer leading the Equity Working group for Houston’s Climate Action Plan. 


Vega is a recipient of Baker Hughes’ chairman award in recognition of her Diversity & Inclusion advocacy and her service in founding the company Women’s Network. She is a servant leader and a lifelong learner that strives to stay human, humble, and curious. She is happily married and the proud mother of two talented & strong daughters with careers in STEM.
