Stuart Keeton

Stuart received his BS degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at OSU in 1981, but began his employment at Webco Industries in December 1980. While employed there, Stuart completed an MBA degree at OSU-Tulsa, working long hours at Webco and constantly enrolled in two courses in the MBA program. During his nearly 30-year career with Webco he held many leadership positions including Director of Manufacturing Systems, Director of Production Planning, Director of Operations, and spent the last 9 years Vice President and General Manager of the Stainless Operations.

During Stuart’s tenure as the VP/GM of Stainless Operations, he and his team grew the sales of the division from $35 million annually in 2001 to $77 million annually in 2010 when he left the company. He was also a major part of the team that led the development of a major Stainless expansion in Kellyville, OK.

In addition to the above, Stuart also was responsible for a couple of momentous events that he led while he was at Webco. The first was back in the 1980s when Stuart was the first employee to bring his own Apple personal computer to Webco. He brought it to work and used it at his desk. He eventually allowed his co-workers to utilize the computer. Once Webco began purchasing more computers for their employees, Stuart provided training on their use. In short, he brought the PC to Webco! Secondly, Stuart paved the way and created the first inventory location system for the company. Over time, he continued to manage this system to confirm accuracy of Webco’s transactions. The company has continued to build on this system over the years.

After nearly 30 years at Webco, Stuart became heavily involved in the family oil and gas
business, which continues today.

Stuart is an avid fan of OSU football and rarely misses a home game. He is also a vocal and enthusiastic supporter of IEM at OSU.
