Syam Antony
Syam has been at Nike since early 2018, where he currently serves as Sr. Director for Global Supply Chain Innovation (SCI). In this role, Syam helps develop and deploy Nike’s Supply Chain Strategy in partnership with geographies and functions. The SCI team plays a key role in connecting different work streams and guiding performance management practices to help measure supply chain’s progress against business goals. Prior to this role, Syam served as Sr. Director of Supply Chain Innovation for North America. In this time, Syam played an active role in helping shape the strategic vision for NA Supply Chain, including driving key investments and growing new capabilities especially in the area of advanced analytics.
Prior to Nike, Syam spent over 13 years at Walmart. His career started in Logistics Engineering where he helped drive process design in distribution centers across the US. He also diversified into different roles outside of Supply Chain, holding leadership roles in both Store Operations and Merchandising during his tenure.
Syam graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University (2004), then later graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Institute of Technology (2014). He also received in Six Sigma Black Belt in 2014.
Syam has been married to his wife Elsa since 2010 and they have two kids. In his free time, Syam enjoys spending time with his family and doing the various activities that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, like hiking and biking. Syam loves most sports and is especially interested in supporting his hometown Oklahoma City Thunder and alma mater Oklahoma State Cowboys.
