Leading STEM Coalition

OSU leads the NSPACE (NASA STEM Pathway Activities - Consortium for Education) team consisting of partners from the 13 institutions within the TAMU System, Langston University, OSU Center for Sovereign Nations, Northern Oklahoma College, the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation, and the Technology for Learning Consortium in the mission to collaborate with NASA Johnson Space Center, Agency Mission directorates, and NASA Headquarters to provide competitive and innovative STEM educational opportunities to K-16 students and educators. Oklahoma Space Grant & OK NASA EPSCoR

Connecting OK & NASA

NASA initiated the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program, also known as Space Grant, in 1989. Space Grant is a national network of colleges and universities. These institutions are working to expand opportunities for Americans to understand and participate in NASA's aeronautics and space projects by supporting and enhancing science and engineering education, research and public outreach efforts. The Space Grant national network includes over 850 affiliates from universities, colleges, industry, museums, science centers, and state and local agencies. OSU Professor Andy Arena is the director of OK Space Grant and OK NASA EPScoR.

Unmanned Systems Research Institute (USRI)

Connecting UAS with the OSU Campus

USRI is the hub of drone research and development at Oklahoma State University, connecting customer needs with subject matter experts across the OSU domain. As a national leader in the drone arena, USRI specializes in research, education, and training in unmanned and autonomous technology for air, ground, and maritime systems working with government and commercial customers to develop custom drone solutions and technology integration. Dr. Jamey Jacob is the director of USRI.
