Dr. Michael Miranda joined our research group in February 2017 as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. He obtained his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from University of Toledo, Ohio, USA in 2017 and a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India in 2010.

He has worked in diverse research areas – modification of activated carbon and nano material for water treatment, reactive kinetics of antioxidants, polymer synthesis and modification for improved oxygen barrier properties and synthesis of hybrid oxygen material.

He is currently investigating gas evolution kinetics in model liquids as well as complex liquids and understanding transient stability of solid stabilized emulsions.
