Mechatronics Control and Health Monitoring Lab
GENT 3503: Fundamentals of Mechatroics
Course Description
Mechatronics is the synergistic integration of mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, control systems and computer. This course will introduce students with the fundamentals of mechatronic systems and components at both theory and practical level. Physical understanding of the components is given more importance rather than mathematical formulation and design. In this course the students will learn basics about different modelling approaches used for mechatronics systems, sensors and actuators, data acquisition and interfacing, signal conditioning, and PLCs. Laboratory exercises are designed to substantiate the lectures.
