EET 3104: Elements of Electricity and Electronics

COURSE DESCRIPTION 

This is an introductory electrical and electronics course for non-EET majors.  Topics covered include DC and AC electrical circuits, electrical machines, solid-state devices, digital electronics, and the use of basic electronic instrumentation. For detailed course description click here.

EET/MET 4050: Fundamentals of Mechatronics

COURSE DESCRIPTION 

Mechatronics is the synergistic integration of mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, control systems and computer. This course will introduce students with the fundamentals of mechatronic systems and components at both theory and practical level.  Topics covered include basics of mechatronics system modelling, sensors and actuators, data acquisition and interfacing, signal conditioning, and PLCs.
