• How much does an intern get paid?
  During the internship, you will receive $14-15/hr and be paid out bi-weekly. 
• Where will I be located?
  There are a variety of options, LTAP tries to place an intern where they prefer, but sometimes may be asked to work at a location not on their preferred location list. Please see the LTAP Agency List for all potential agencies. 
• Is housing provided?
  No, housing is not provided.
• What type of work will I be doing?
  The work will vary with each agency. Jobs duties will be primarily transportation based. This could include but not limited to, site visits, modeling work, city/urban planning, etc. 
• How long does the internship run?
  The internship runs between 12-15 weeks. Roughly the third or fourth week of May to the last week of July or the first week of August. 
• Are benefits provided?
  No, as an intern there will be no benefits provided.
• Will I have any paid vacation days?
  No, as an intern you will have no paid vacation days. You are still allowed to take vacation, you just will not be paid for that time. 
• How many hours can I be expected to work each week?
  As an intern you will be expected to work 40 hours a week. 
• Can I take summer classes during the internship?
  That we will leave up to you. We advise you talk to your supervisor to learn expectations during the summer and to make a wise decision based on that information.
