Architecture Program
The five-year NAAB-accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree is designed to provide an outstanding education to students wishing to enter the professional practice of architecture.
This program’s curriculum is designed to provide students with a well-rounded studio-based education accompanied by supporting core areas of emphasis in technology, architectural history and theory, and architectural management. Computers are heavily utilized and integrated into the design experience in the professional program.
The design studio is the center of the School’s educational program. It is the setting where students and faculty work most closely together, and where all specialized study and knowledge comes together and is synthesized in design. The record of OSU students’ achievements in the design studio is evidenced by the success in national and international architectural design competitions. Over the past 40 years, the School has one of the several best records of success in student design competitions as compared to all accredited schools of architecture in the United States.
