Transitioning to Online
Teaching online, when thoughtfully planned, can be very engaging and effective across subjects and disciplines. Whether the content is taught synchronously (live) or asynchronously (on your own time), faculty can present information to students, demonstrate processes, facilitate large or small group discussions, assess student learning, and provide feedback on assignments and assessments.

Canvas is the OSU’s Learning Management System. It is a flexible, easy-to-use platform with a clean interface, rich multimedia capabilities, and dedicated mobile apps for both students and instructors.
Students
You can access Canvas through the OSU portal at my.okstate.edu. There you will see your courses listed on the dashboard. The videos below provide you with an overview of Canvas and its commonly used features.
