ECE Professors Guoliang Fan, James West, and Keith Teague (Emeritus) were honored at the Fall 2022 University Awards Convocation.
ECE Professor, Dr. Weili Zhang, was named for the fourth year in a row a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher due to his pioneering work in THz imaging, spectroscopy, plasmonics, and metasurfaces
He is only one of two researchers in the OSU system to receive this award during 2022. In total, his research has been cited more than 17,500 times. He has an H-Index of 68 (i.e., 68 of his publications have been each cited more than 68 times).
Prof. Ekin’s research in wireless communications is highlighted in ASCR Discovery, a publication of the US Department of Energy
Dr. Ekin was recently awarded $789k by the DOE to research next generation communication systems and high-performance computing networks.
