dr. subhash kak to receive prestigious award from government of indiaThe India Ministry of Home Affairs recently announced Subhash Kak, Regents Professor Emeritus in electrical and computer engineering (ECE) at Oklahoma State University, will receive the Padma Shri award from the President of India. The Padma awards are the highest civilian awards of India and are given in recognition of distinguished contribution in various spheres of activity including the arts, education, industry, literature, science, sports, medicine, social service and public affairs in three categories.

dr. subhash kak appointed to prestigious commission

Subhash Kak, Regents Professor in electrical and computer engineering at Oklahoma State University, has been appointed to the Indian Prime Minister’s Science Technology and Innovation Council. 

The committee consists of 21 members whose main task is to advise Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ten ministries in India on policy matters related to science, technology and innovation.
