Civil & Environmental Engineering Research
The Oklahoma State University (OSU) has a strong history of externally funded research
on practical and implementable solutions for important problems. We aim to use our
research expertise to help develop, create, and maintain a safe, durable, and sustainable
infrastructure system. The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CIVE) at
OSU currently completes > $2.5M annually in external research from federal, state,
private, and international funding sources and has done so for the last three years.
The University is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in CIVE. These facilities
have been renewed with investments of > $20M over the past three years. The research
is completed by 14 research-active faculty members. The CIVE department recognizes
the importance to engage a diverse set of faculty and students in research to provide
implementable solutions to important problems.
