Hobbies: Gardening, crochet, reading, baking, travel. I love spending as much time as possible with my family!

Favorite Music: I like classical, some country, pop, blues, movie scores and soundtracks, classic crooners like Sam Cooke & Dean Martin. It completely depends on my mood!

Favorite Movie: Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck

Favorite Book: Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery

Something not everyone knows about you: Instead of setting New Year resolutions, every year I create a culinary bucket list where I challenge myself to learn new recipes and techniques.

Favorite Quote: A good laugh overcomes more difficulties and dissipates more dark clouds than any other one thing. Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Best Advice for College Students: Don’t feat the failure. It isn’t the failure, or setback, that defines you. It’s how you pick yourself up and treat others in the process. So, put yourself out there, try new things – join student organizations, study abroad, seek internships, dream big.

Favorite OSU memory: Walkaround at Homecoming! Whether it’s memories of attending as a student or creating new memories now attending with my husband and kids, Walkaround is one of my favorite OSU traditions.

Favorite Web Sites: I spend a lot of time on Pinterest looking for new things to bake…

Favorite web site that is student related: Learning how to use Slate to schedule appointments with your academic advisor, financial planning coach, or tutoring!

Other:   I moved to Stillwater as a transfer student, and never left! My husband and I met while students, married after graduation, and now have two kids. We love Stillwater, and I happen to think OSU is the most beautiful campus!
